PDF Rotate

PDF Rotate fixes the most common orientation problem: a PDF where every page is sideways because the scanner fed the pages in landscape orientation, or where some pages are upside down after a duplex scan. Instead of rotating each page by hand in a PDF reader and then saving, you apply the rotation once and get a corrected file to share, print, or archive. The tool gives you a visual preview so you can verify the rotation before downloading. You can navigate through pages to check each one, apply different rotations to individual pages (rotate page 3 by 90° but leave the rest), or apply a single rotation angle to all pages at once. The rotation is applied to the page orientation metadata — it does not re-render or re-encode the page content, so there is no quality loss. Text remains selectable, images stay sharp, and vector graphics stay crisp. Behind the scenes, the tool uses pdf-lib to set the rotation property on each page object. This is the same mechanism desktop PDF editors use — the page content is not altered, only the rotation metadata is updated. When you open the output in any PDF reader, the pages display at the correct orientation. The page preview in the tool is rendered by pdfjs-dist, which gives you an accurate view of how each page will look after rotation. Common use cases: fixing a scanned document where every page came out rotated 90° clockwise; correcting a duplex scan where odd pages are upright but even pages are upside down (use individual page rotation); or rotating just the landscape appendix pages in an otherwise portrait document back to portrait.
